Annual Christmas Food Basket Program

The Grayslake High School kids collected 60,000 Ibs of canned good this year which were used to make food baskets this holiday season for 145 families/506 people.  Additionally we moved a lot of food in two large trucks to bring up the pantry inventories at Avon, PLAN and St. Joseph food pantries.  Thanks the many, many GCHS and GNHS kids who worked so hard to make this happen as well as the Grayslake Lions Club with help from local business like Grayslake Feed Sales were able to added a turkey, potatoes, apples, candy and milk to this Christmas food baskets.

27 Lions and 11 family members along with the high school kids did a great job with the program.
